HedgeDesk — Terms of Use (EULA)

These Terms of Use (the "Terms" or "EULA") govern your use of the HedgeDesk applications for macOS, iPhone and iPad (each, the "App"), published by ProDesk Apps ("ProDesk", "we", "us" or "our"). By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

ProDesk Apps is a software provider, not a broker, dealer or financial adviser. HedgeDesk is an analytical tool. We do not execute trades, hold client funds, or provide personal financial advice.

Licence

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, ProDesk grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and the Usage Rules set out in the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

Subscriptions & auto-renewal

HedgeDesk offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions ("HedgeDesk Pro") that unlock additional features. Current plans and prices are:

  • HedgeDesk Pro — Monthly: US$5.99 per month, billed once per month at the price displayed in the App and on the App Store.
  • HedgeDesk Pro — Yearly: US$59.99 per year, billed once per year at the price displayed in the App and on the App Store.

Subscriptions are purchased through the App Store on the platform where you use the App. The macOS and iOS/iPadOS versions of HedgeDesk are separate App Store products, so a subscription purchased on one platform does not automatically unlock the other unless Apple presents them as a universal purchase.

The following terms apply to auto-renewable subscriptions:

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Your subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price, unless the price has changed and you have been notified.
  • You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time by going to your account settings on the App Store after purchase.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
  • No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period.

All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes and are shown in your local currency where possible. Refunds, where available, are handled by Apple in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

Not investment advice

All content, calculations, models, screens, scenarios, analyses and visualisations produced by the App are for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing in the App constitutes financial, investment, legal, accounting or tax advice, and nothing in the App is a recommendation to buy, sell, hold or transact in any security, derivative or other financial instrument. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions.

Third-party services

The App integrates with third-party services such as Yahoo Finance, the IMF DataMapper API and optional AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini, xAI and others). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. ProDesk is not responsible for the availability, accuracy or conduct of any third-party service.

Restrictions

You agree not to (a) reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the App except to the extent permitted by law; (b) rent, lease, lend, resell or sublicense the App; (c) use the App to build a competing product; or (d) use the App in violation of any applicable law or regulation.

Intellectual property

All right, title and interest in and to the App, including its design, code, graphics, logos and trademarks, are owned by ProDesk or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights in ProDesk's trademarks or branding.

No warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including without limitation any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. Market data can be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProDesk and its officers, employees and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary loss, or for any loss of profits, revenue, trading losses, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the App — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such loss.

Termination

These Terms remain in effect until terminated. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you breach these Terms. On termination, all licences granted to you will end and you must stop using the App.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ProDesk Apps operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer that cannot be excluded under applicable local law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be highlighted where possible. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
